The road to Casa Vi
Thuiskomen bij mezelf, mijn honden en mijn werk
When I drove my van from the Netherlands to Spain four years ago, I knew one thing for sure: this is where I want to be. My home among the mountains, the view, the silence — everything felt right immediately. But truly coming home turned out to be a whole different journey.
Coming home is more than just putting a key in a door. It's getting to know yourself again. Facing old issues. Asking courageous questions: What do I really want? How do I want to live? How do I want to work?
And the remarkable thing: while I was busy with myself, my pack chose me. Two dogs who literally found their way to me and decided that I could be their owner. They didn't follow me — I walked with them. And that became a mirror: do I dare to choose myself, just as naturally?
Moving to a foreign country means you are on your own. There are no old patterns or habits to hold you back. That is exciting, but also liberating. Because in that space, you can really hear your inner voice. And that is what I did.
I discovered that my work — art and coaching — are not two separate worlds, but come together in one source: coming home to yourself. My paintings bring that energy into a space. My coaching helps creators, soulpreneurs and entrepreneurs do the same in their work and communication.
And that got a name: Casa Vi.
Not just any house, but a place where everything comes together. My life. My art. My coaching. My story. And maybe soon a piece of yours too.
Want dat is wat ik geloof: dat wanneer we landen bij onszelf, we vanzelf beginnen te stralen. Niet door harder te werken, maar door dichter bij ons eigen hart te komen.
Because that's what I believe: that when we land with ourselves, we naturally begin to shine. Not by working harder, but by getting closer to our own hearts.
Anyone who knows me a little knows that I got here by keeping my sparkle alive, under all circumstances. Because it always starts with a spark ✨ — and from there, everything grows.
